Middle Eastern Food - The best-

The Sahara on Coney Island Ave. and Ave. T has the best middle eastern eats around.
Their appetizer plate is my favorite. A little of everything.
Take out or eat in.  They deliver.
One of the few middle eastern places that has a vegan option of a vegetable kabob.

Let's Take a Walk Along The Salt Marsh Nature Center Path...

The first half of this mile-long trail follows the shore of Gerritsen Beach, which empties into Jamaica Bay. From the trail’s boardwalk and viewing platforms you can observe the birdlife for which the park is famous, including the herons, egrets, ducks, and geese that frequent the marsh throughout the year. The trail’s second leg winds through a prairie of tall grass, where you can sometimes spot cottontail rabbits and ring-necked pheasants. Comfort stations and maps are available inside the Salt Marsh Nature Center.
Above: Walking Path is a loop - a bench or two along the way.

Above: Stop Three...a deck platform with bench overlooking the water.

Above: A nice spot for a picnic lunch...bring sunscreen and OFF in summer.

Above: Photographer getting a shot at the eagle nest set up by the rangers. They were nesting at time of this photo.
